Your pattern looks similar to mine. You'll probably expect to see medical passed & background check in progress in a few days or so.

You'll prob receive more ghost emails (e.g. your application EXXXXX has been updated) on an ongoing basis, each may or may not reflect the actual updates on your status. I received a ghost email few days ago and my Medical, Document, and Background Checks were updated.

Could be calls from anyone... have you tried to pick up the calls yourself? I've heard of IRCC VO calling the employers to verify the information on applicant's employment history etc.

There's an IRCC Call Center but the number only works within Canada (1-888-242-2100), from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m local time. You may give it a try from India. Otherwise I would suggest you submit a case specific inquiry through IRCC Web Form - the turnaround time is usually 10 days.

It you are qualified for both CEC and FSW under EE, you will automatically be categorized in CEC stream for the Invitation to Apply.
