And advice someone to start application with only 20 days left till the semester starts is not reasonable. Will you take responsibility if application is refused due to rush preparation?

Honestly, I thin SDS gives a faster processing time. Not easier requirement. SDS or non-SDS, UCW stays to be a bad choice. EE FSW, you will likely need at least 470 CRS points to get invited.
