Exactly! I understand what you are saying. But we do have a title. We are both engineers. According to the agency that helped us, the money was enough. In the previous denial they never mentioned the financial situation and it was the same amount. I believe that the forum is made to help and give constructive opinions, the intention of my publication is to give me support on how to improve my letter, not to throw our desire to travel to the floor.
There is only one thing every single one of us should take into consideration, study in Canada was not made to suit everyone. Some people have a "more likely to get accepted" background. Some simply don't. You need to take another program, another university or college to get accepted. I have never heard of Camosun College. That's already a red flag to VO. Your agency is working against you. If they really made you a perfect application, you would not be refused twice. Not once but twice.

Did you try applying for any bachelor degree? At a public university? Is there any university who will grant you admission based on your experiences? People at your age usually come to Canada for a Master, eventually a PhD. You need something that align to your age. Not an unknown diploma.

As I said, if you get admitted to a public university, financial needs are gonna be a brand new story. You will need to have way more money to support yourself in Canada. Bring a family of 4 here without an insufficient funds is so risky and I think VO did it right to refuse your application. Maybe try to apply by yourself if you ever want to try it again.

Last but not least, truth hurts. There is another option that you take a Bachelor in your country and later come to Canada to do a Master. That will help. If you still want to go for any random diploma, it will likely be another refusal.

Camosun is a public college. I am looking for a master's degree. And waiting for the officer's notes to know how we are going to apply. Anyway thank you very much for replying. When I have the new program I will write to you for guidance on the letter of intent.

¿Hacer un MBA en una universidad y no en una universidad aumenta la probabilidad de que el oficial no me niegue el permiso?

This is the second time we have been denied my study permit. We are a family of 4. The reasons this time were:
I am not convinced that you will be leaving Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
- I am not satisfied that you will be leaving Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal wealth and financial situation.
We already applied for GCMS notes. We declared 64000 Cad. We do not understand why we are told that the amount is less.
Our letter of reasons was as follows:

My name is xxxxx, I am 37 years old, xxxxx, and currently reside in xxxx . My admission to Camosun College has been approved, and I am now pleased to submit my study permit for your consideration.

I am a Systems Engineer, with more than 15 years of experience in the area of technology and operations in international oil companies such as xxxxx, xxxxx. In the latter I hold the position of IT Manager, I am responsible, among others, for:

- Budget management
- Supplier management
- Implementation of technological projects
- Search for technological alternatives to implement in the company.
- Supervising the technological infrastructure of computer equipment and servers.
- Supervise the communications infrastructure
- Managing the company's electronic security
- Management of IT personnel
- Project management for process automation

Purpose of the trip: The sole purpose of my visit to Canada is to attend the Camosun College program. I am a person convinced of continuous improvement, and as such, I intend to take a step forward in my career by studying a specialization in General Management. After researching study alternatives in different parts of the world, I found the General Management program at Camosun College. This College is known for its technological innovation and is one of the preferred destinations for Latin American students in higher education. I have reviewed their curriculum and reviews and I am sure I have chosen the right educational institution as it fits what I am looking for.

This will be of great use to me in xxxx upon my return to improve the position I am eligible for. With the knowledge and experience gained, I could apply for a higher level position. The technology field has immense potential for professionals with advanced skills, as well as to establish strategies that result in greater efficiency and effectiveness in all organizational processes.

I have paid Camosun College an initial fee of CAD $8,500 to reserve my place in the General Management program starting September 2021. I am enclosing a copy of the deposit. The cost of the program is CAD 27,044. The value of the College includes health coverage for 3 months for me and my family. From the fourth month onwards, the cost of will be 75 CAD for each of us, which we have considered in our economic analysis.

To undertake an academic challenge of these dimensions, the support of the family is undoubtedly fundamental. In this sense, I have the full support of my wife and children, who have decided to accompany me to Canada so as not to affect our family union that we have maintained and cared for all these years.

Family ties: I have strong family ties in xxxx: my father and in-laws, elders, my sisters, my house and my wife's business.

My wife is a Petroleum Engineer graduated in xxxxx. She has worked in both international and local companies in xxxxx. My wife's intention during this time in Canada will be to expand her knowledge in the area of sales and customer service. For the last 9 years she has had her own company dedicated to the import of equipment for the oil and industrial sector. My wife is the Legal Representative of the company, the time we are in Canada she will delegate her functions for the proper functioning of the company.

The experience for our children will be countless. They have received an education in English, but the opportunity to live this experience in a speaking country where they will be able to develop their language skills and meet new friends. In addition, living in a multicultural society, which professes a deep respect for rights and freedoms, which is noted for the friendliness and sense of cooperation of its people, will leave an indelible mark for their future, along with extraordinary stories to share upon their return.

In my wife's bank account we have savings of USD $ 45,000, equivalent to approximately CAD $ 60,000.00. Our assets in xxxx consist of

- A Mazda xxxx automobile that we acquired in 2020 valued at USD $ 20,000.00.
- Complete household items valued at $ 23,000.00 U.S. dollars.
- A piece of land valued at $ 63,026.36 US Dollars
My mother's house in inheritance valued at $ 212,067.55 US Dollars.

I am very grateful for taking the time to read this letter of intent, and I kindly await your consideration and acceptance to obtain a study permit for myself, for my 2 children, an open work permit for my wife and a half time work permit for me. As a family we are very excited to visualize a period of our life in a country as wonderful as Canada.

In case of requiring additional information, my contact is the following:

***Is it preferable to change studies? I don't know what to do? Thank you for your advice
I don't see any problem With proof of funds, I see problem with
- Your program choice: General Management has no specialization and I suppose anyone can do it. Petroleum Engineering to General Management, I don't know what you want to achieve
- Your Study Plan lacks fundamental questions of why you want to come to Canada, what you want to achieve out of that and future prospect
- It make no sense for the wife who run business successful for 9years to leave and delegate to someone else to accompany you. Risks of losing business is higher than benefits coming to Canada for 2 years.
- 80% of your letter of explanation was about you, your profile which VO could see from bank statements and family information form. It has little to do with the outcome
- Choice of College.
