Hi everyone, October applicant (my husband is actually the PA, I’m the sponsor). Our application will be processed by Vienna, we received AOR2 December 4, and BGC started processing on December 7. Hi alq, sometimes applicants don’t receive the AOR2. We had the exact same thing, AOR2 is then the line that you saw “we started processing on...” it means the VO has begun processing your file.

For us, decision made for sponsor was first showing in ECAS, then we got the email for sponsor approval a few days later.

My husband’s physician told him they are obligated it submit it within 7 or 10 days. So don’t worry! For us it took 7 days after the exam to show medical is passed, while others had it in a day or two.

I just checked our dates to be sure, medical was passed after we got the transfer email and AOR2. So I guess they don’t necessarily wait. :)

Should be ok! The website says they accept jpeg, pdf and doc files :) if you want i think there are also a number of apps that convert your picture to pdf (you can do this through the notes app if you have an iphone as well). I also remember they request colour copies.

I might be wrong but I thought GC Key was actually more up to date, it’s constantly updating your status while ECAS is updated once a day. I think I read this in the IRCC website... we can get different information from each though on the status. So it’s definitely beneficial to check both.

Thanks so much! I've seen a lot of people on this forum post about the process going super quick and then slowing to a standstill....so I'm going to stay weary so that I don't go crazy :)

Thank you! I should update that... medical was done on Nov 29 and passed 6 December, so yesterday is when the update appeared in GCkey and ECAS.

Hey everyone, just an update...GCKey changed to "We are processing your background check" I believe today, we didn't check yesterday. Timeline is in signature. This all seems quick, I know we're in for the longest stage now though but given how slow I've heard Vienna VO is I'm surprised...

I think it’s like what we did. Submitted on November 24th, I suppose if they need originals (which they can request sometimes) we’ll hear from them :)
