I guess they put your file on hold when they send you an RPRF request. The agent cannot foresee when you will take action, therefore, they deal with other applications so you lose your priority. Just a guess. I paid my RPRF yesterday.

4 months of processing is not long.

For the record, I've just received a response to my CSE, saying "We have received your supporting documents and have attached them to your application." 16-day turnaround.

It could be a glitch, but we don't know that for certain. I'll wait for a couple more days and if it is not fixed, I'll send an updated passport copy via CSE.
