The forms need not be translated. One thing to get translated is the URDU Nikaahnaama. Even if you have the union council produce marriage certificate, have the nikaahnaama translated and notarized and send along with papers. All documents that are in Urdu have to be translated into English...

Just received mail, we've been approved and my hubby's file has been sent to London VO. 'tis a good day ;D

If your husband is the Sponsor, he will get the e-mail. AOR = Acknowledgment of Receipt

Have you got the AOR yet? An e-mail they send out that your application has been received by the CIC. If not, then there isn't anything you can do to check for now. Just give it another week, you will get your AOR very soon.

If you're planning on going to visit her again, just add that too... maybe even buy tickets if possible... Attach copies, to show you plan to visit her, and what you will do (places you will go etc) when you're there...
