To avoid any form of misrepresentation one should provide as much details as possible. In this case a refusal detail if not provided tantamounts to hiding it thereby putting it in the same category as misrepresentation.

Whatever program you choose do a thorough research on it (to the detail of individual subjects) and in SOP co-relate how pursuing this particular program will add to your existing skills and experience. Be clear and concise at the same time. Good Luck

I guess the intention of VO is to make sure a person doesn't stay illegally after or during the student visa period. Most of the western countries have checks in places similarly but Canada is little more strict than few others.

There are always penalties for withdrawing from a program and asking for refund but within the same college (though I am not 100% sure) I guess the penalties will be minimum. You can contact your International Student Admission centre to get exact clarity on it. Good Luck

Thanks buddy. I am planning to go for Jan intake. Yes I have shortlisted B2 french level course in Montreal besides the one I want to pursue. I maybe visiting Montreal in 2nd week of November to finalize everything before I make the final move. Cheers

Uni's/College accept Academic only. GT as you might be aware is for Immigration purpose only. I would suggest you to remain away from Uni's with minimum and easiest requirements as it will be waste of your money besides you may have problem in getting visa. Good Luck
