LOL are you trying to LOOK like a visitor? If so, I'd ditch the kitchen stuff...plus, when they scan your bags, they will be seen. Not by the border officer, but wondering if it could flag you, potentially? Best to be safe than sorry, IMHO. :)

If you listed an email address on your application, that will be where they send your decision letter. That will be your only "letter" and you won't get one via snail mail.

Question. Per our approval letter, my PR app is being sent to/processed by Ottawa. The letter said that VO was selected based on "your relative's home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act." To calculate the processing time, should I still be looking at...

Color me silly. Just checked again. The two underlined "received" buttons are there for the Sponsorship and PR applications. HALLELUIAH! But nothing more shows up under Sponsorship. Under mine-the PR App, it says they rec'd it on Sept 24. :P

I would venture to say it hasn't been approved, only received and they're working on it. Doesn't seem like your file has been updated beyond that. We got our AOR email last week, and we can log on to ECAS, but nothing is showing yet, not the underlined "received", nothing but my hubby's...

What is underlined is the "contact us" which takes me right back to the beginning. ARGH. So, I think Computergeek may be right. We're in the system but the application isn't. YET...and happy waiting to us! :P
