Please how do I address the absence of both parents and family from our wedding

Our wedding was small too. There was no friend. Just my husband's mother, his sister, and my family. There were 14 guests in total which isn't much, yet it doesn't prevent us to have a

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

I'm just frustrated I guess haha. I sent my application at the end of November and they still haven't charged my credit card. I got no Aor yet. Everytime i call them, they give me a different answer. It's like if they don't know how to do their job.

****September 2019 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

I think you can print the receipt twice so when they separate your file to send the OWP application to those who process it, they can see you have paid it.

Questions , please read in thread - sponsorship?

Yes he can sponsor her on a visitor visa. Inland means that they must cohabit together for the full process of the sponsorship. Outland, they do not need to live together but can both be in Canada. Outland is usually processed a bit quicker than inland.

Our envelope was opened a while ago apparantly but they still haven't charged the credit card. The woman on the phone told me it would be charged only when they start working on my application which would be when the date on the website corresponds to the date they received our application. It took them many weeks to update the website and they have only worked on 12 days of applications. I'm starting to think nobody is working at the immigration office. It's ridiculous how slow they are.

2019 Quebec Inland Spouse/Common law sponsorship applicants only

Anyone knows if we receive some form of AOR when we apply for CSQ? I sent my request in November 2019. They received my file Dec. 3rd, and they told me on the phone it was considered as "receivable" on Dec. 20, but they still haven't charged my credit card and I didn't receive any AOR.

Psychiatric evaluation after intial medical examination

Unless she needs a medical evaluation over a period of many sessions (like a therapy), there is no reason for a psychiatrist to ask 2000$ unless he is trying to rip you off ... and he definitely is.

Psychiatric evaluation after intial medical examination

Call another clinic. It sounds extremely expensive for a simple evaluation. My husband needs to see a specialist at the hospital every once in a while. He doesn't have insurance and they only charge him the hospital fee (around 100ish) and the doctor salary (less than 200ish).

Family class sponsorship vs express entry

My husband had the same choice as you. He could have applied through express entry. He chose sponsorship. He would have gotten the PR quicker if he would have chosen the express entry.

    Legal while in process?

Considering it takes about one month to receive a wedding certificate (which is necessary to apply for sponsorship), he will need to extend his current visa if possible. Otherwise, he won't be legal in Canada.

It depends whether you apply inland or outland. Outland tends to be a bit quicker depending of where you come from (not true for all countries). It usually takes 12 months

    common law questions

No there is no specific income requirement when sponsoring a spouse but you need to show that you will be able to help if needed. you don't need a specific amount of savings. The only thing is you can't receive social welfare and need to prove that you won't need it while you are sponsoring your...

    Housing - Sponsorship

Well if you checked with immigration and they already confirmed you that it isn't social assistance, i think you already have your answer. Immigration is more trustworthy than random people on a forum.

You don't pay it twice. Just pay it one time and that's it. That's what we did and it was fine.
