There were no updates other than the initial confirmation of receipt. Then the passport request showed up 37 days later.

For anyone who is interested, my parents applied for their TRVs on April 13, 2015 and today (May 20, 2015) they got their original passport requests. I'm guessing this is an approval? They applied online so they did not send the passports with the application.

I think it's the Vancouver office email. That's were my landing email came from and it's also the email they provide if we need to contact them. Their fax number is 604-666-6582.

Have you called CIC? Wictory just posted that they got their landing interview from Vancouver today for June 16. It's odd that they still haven't sent you the email. You can also email the office at WST-LandingEnquiries@cic.gc.ca to find out. I hope you hear back soon, this seems unfair.

I received DM (in Ecas) on April 28 and received the email from Vancouver office on April 29 (schedule for May 25). Strange that they are taking so long. I never received a DM email though, just SA and AIP. I hope you hear from them this week.

From the FB page it seems like Etobicoke take up to two weeks for the landing letter but the interview will be soon after you receive the letter. For example one applicant waited 2 weeks after DM for landing email and the appointment was scheduled for 2 days later.

I got it via email. All my correspondence from CIC is via email. If you provided them your email address you should be getting it by email. Were your SA/AIP/DM letters by email?

I really wonder what they are up to with the random DMs with no AIP and not showing the correct processing times. I guess if they posted that they are processing Dec 2013/Jan 2014 then the call centre would be jammed up more than usual. Either way I'm just happy that there's movement :-)
