I think I read somewhere someone said/guessed that IRCC is now initiating all checks at the same time after R10 passed. That could be the reason of direct IP2 because they are indeed processing BG check right after R10. But that doesn't explain why some people still have IP1. Look forward to...

Actually for all EE applications, if you submit without up-front medical, they will reject your application... So get your medical exam done ASAP and upload proof (information sheet) via CSE.

I believe you would get an ITA today... since you are higher than today's cut off. It does take a couple hours to receive it but look out for it. Once you submit your complete application and receive AOR, you can apply for BOWP and keep your worker status in Canada.

The question asks whether you have certificate, not work experience associated with certificate. So answer yes :) I think you should get the points, but let the online portal confirm that for you.

Wait till you have 52 weeks of work experience. All hours in excess of 30 hrs/week do not count. Hope this helps.

I don't think you need the work experience that relates to trade certification to claim the skill transferability points. The CRS criteria does not mention work experience when it comes to cert. of qualification. The certificate of qualification alone should be enough. But I'm not 100% sure...

Rejection could come anytime, CSE added could take 1-2 weeks.

Go for medical after ITA should be good enough... at least in Toronto, next day appointments are available. The medical is valid for 1 year and has to be still valid at the time of your landing. IRCC actually recommends getting medical after ITA. But all depends on you :)

I would get both reference letters if possible and explain the situation in LoE.
