Height of the face in PR photo

It needs to be taken in the past 6 months prior to submitting them. They can't issue the COPR nor visa if they don't have those photos.

Height of the face in PR photo

You could submit your app with the photos as they are, however they are pretty strict about the requirements. At the very least, they will ask you to take them again later in the future. In my case, the delay for having incorrect size photos has been a month now. My app just went to the bottom...

****JULY 2017***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

No one can know for sure. But it could mean that eligibility is passed and they don't need that evidence anymore. Usually they return them once eligibility has been passed. But again, there's no way to know what's going on in your file. If you want to find out exactly, order GCMS notes.

Parents Sponsorship - Stop Immigration Lottery

Take Vancouver for example, the housing is a nightmare there. Recently they brought up laws to reduce the impact of foreigners (mostly Asian) buying homes to just rent them. But there are no real significant changes in the short term. It will keep being a nightmare.

Questions Regarding Spousal Sponsorship (United States to Canada)

Yes, you can sponsor your husband. Your parents cannot sponsor him, in this case only you can. You will need to show some plan or evidence that you two will be able to sustain yourselves financially. You don't need a job to sponsor your husband, just need to show he won't need to go into...

    Final Stage Warning Letter

Hi there. There have been cases where the visa offices send something (or not really) and the PA misses it (or they never sent requests for anything at all but they believe, or have on records, that they did). You should reply with an email saying that you haven't received that request for...

Rejection based on address on IMM 5406

I don't think many people here would know the answer to that question. As a start, this is very upsetting for you. There are people whose applications get returned even though everything was perfect (Mississauga making mistakes). However, I think you will find, later on in the process, that the...

Rejection based on address on IMM 5406

As you point it out yourself, a full address is required on the forms, so this was your mistake. If you read the guides, you should know that in case you need more space, you just attach a paper sheet with the information along with the forms.

    sponsor husband as a PR

Why wouldn't it come with the package? There would be no reason to hold your passport. If you are at the end of the process, you've already gotten your PPR, so you are pretty much done. Some visa offices take more time than others to return passports, generally from a couple of weeks to a couple...

    sponsor husband as a PR

I would assume that the empty shipping envelope is so they return the passport to you, with the visa and COPR, plus any other documents or papers they'd want to return to you.

    proxy wedding question

You don't seem to understand the situation. You are not legally married. If you want CIC to recognize your marriage, you will have to get legally married. There is no other way around it. Again, you have to marry your wife some way that isn't a proxy wedding/marriage.

    proxy wedding question

You couldn't be more wrong about this. If the marriage isn't according to the laws in Canada, it won't be recognized by Canada, at the very least for immigration purposes. To the eyes of CIC, you are not married. From a simple Google search, you can find this on websites: Generally, your...

    PR Travel Doc Checklist Questions

I am so done too, but mine is not over :( I don't understand why they take so much time just to close an application, I am pretty sure my file hasn't been looked at in almost four weeks. It shouldn't be that hard to finish it, they just have to stamp the visa and issue the COPR now. I am too...

    PR Travel Doc Checklist Questions

OP is talking about a PR Travel document, which you can get when you are outside of Canada, are a PR and don't have the PR card yet or at the moment, for whatever reason.

    PR Travel Doc Checklist Questions

You would have to apply for a new PR card, nothing that cannot be fixed. For now, focus on the PR Travel doc. I am pretty sure that COPR and SIN would be enough to apply for the travel document.

    Question

It looks like the immigration officer processing your application has concerns about the genuineness of your relationship. Do you have any red flags? You need to tell us more about your specific situation. Also, when is the interview?
  18. JulianaAndrew

    Question

You need to be more specific. Are you applying inland or outland? You should just copy and paste what the letter says.

****JULY 2017***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

You know it's more than that. Procedural Fairness Letter is a final warning, where an immigration officer expresses the intent to refuse the application and the reason why, while also giving a last opportunity to submit more evidence to revert his decision. At the point of a PFL, the immigration...
