Can you voluntarily send more information to them?

Then you could send them information to avoid an interview. As long as the information clears their concerns. So you would have to send something that specifically address their concerns, rather than send them more of the same which you already included in your original application. If your...

Can you voluntarily send more information to them?

If you see in your notes that you're in queue for an interview or need one, you could do that. They will take the new evidence and decide if you still need an interview after that. There have been cases where people got interviews waived just like that, so it's possible to do it and be successful.

    UCI AND APPLICATION NUMBER DECLINED

You can create a new account as many times as you want, so you can avoid the 5 times a day limit. Keep trying to link it, there are several ways it can work. For most people, me included, linking it isn't a problem at all. But for some, it's quite a struggle. The UCI and application number you...

Conjugal partner (How long before you can apply)

Hi. Your relationship needs to be 1 year old at least to be considered conjugal. If you meet that requirement, technically you can apply now. However, there's a little thing. You were in Canada before, so what is preventing you to go there again and get married there? Also, what is keeping you...

    QUestion

I have read plenty of cases that needed an interview as part of my preparing process, which took about a month, and I faced an interview myself. Still, despite all you are saying, quality over quantity is the advice to anyone submitting proofs of the relationship at any point, and this advice...

    QUestion

You are wrong. Quality over quantity will always be the best way to go. If quantity goes along with quality, then great. If not, quality is still more important.

    Spouse Sponsorship Refusal

That makes sense. And if that's the case, nobody can really blame the IO for refusing the application. Looks like they did their job well.

    Spouse Sponsorship Refusal

And if her husband said they didn't have a real relationship, what can you expect? It's sad and a bit funny. OP should just reapply and make things the right way this time.

    PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter)Question

Is that the whole letter? They must have included more in the letter, explaining what the issue is.

    PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter)Question

You should copy and paste the procedural fairness letter so we can see exactly what the problem is.

    PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter)Question

If your sponsor is a Canadian citizen, then why the PFL? If he is a citizen, traveling to his home country shouldn't be an issue. Does he have dual citizenship or still holds a passport that's not Canadian? Or did he renew his passport with his home country?

    PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter)Question

Did your sponsor go back to his home country when he was a PR?

    PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter)Question

Refugees are not supposed to go back to the country they fled from. If they go back there, then why do they ask for a refugee status? If they go back, they are showing that they no longer need Canada's protection. If you are saying that your sponsor is a refugee in Canada and he came back to his...

Questions about translation of documents and interpreter at the relationship interview

Wow, that's surprising. So far I've sent two webforms to the embassy in Bogota, my wife sent an email to them, and they never replied, never. I don't know why they've made Mexico take so many different countries for the processing of applications, but I guess they had their reasons.

Do I need to inform CIC about pregnancy?

It is your personal decision, but I hope you know that there's nothing harmful about taking a chest x-ray exam for pregnant women. Being on a flight takes much more radiation than the little chest x-ray exam, and pregnant women go on those without a second thought.

Do I need to inform CIC about pregnancy?

Not sure how you got that impression, that's not how they work. When they request something, they usually don't touch the app again until they've received what they've asked for.

Do I need to inform CIC about pregnancy?

Why does your wife not take the x-ray now? You'd save a lot of time. Anyway, there's no guarantee they'll move forward with the other parts of the processing. You should probably just expect the application to be on hold until your wife completes the medical exam.
