You don't have to pay any PR card fee for initial application. Is part of the fees you paid. They will mail to afterwards.

CIC never requested any additional information. It's just normal application mate. You have to pay the RPRF fee which is $490 per applicant. I think yours will be updated soon.

Yeah December 21 inland applicant with spouse. Got medical request on November 2 2016. I think yours will come soon.

Where did you get the update from?? Email or my CIC. I just checked mine and there is nothing there .

Don't think occupation is a factor. I am an engineer with very good job though. I have spouse as dependent so I think that might be the factor.
