i checked the other forum and saw some early Jan 2016 applicants having the same status as us. so i would say maybe they are trying to get thru both 2015-Dec and 2016-Jan groups to get status updated and then send ppr? who knows. But i dont quite know that whether we really have DM or not, since myCIC does not change to that step yet. do u know how long it normally take from DM to PPR? thx!

Our decision is made already, I have talked to the CIC call centre and they said Congratulation that my application is approved and I am getting PPR soon.

Mailed the passport out using Canada Post Priority on the 13th. Received by CiC on the 14th. MyCiC updated as Approved today 16th. No update in ECAS. Return tracker hasn't activated yet.

Our decision is made already, I have talked to the CIC call centre and they said Congratulation that my application is approved and I am getting PPR soon.

Are we going to get PPR via email or as letter in my CIC account?
I spoke to one CIC agent today and he said my application is complete and approved and I will get letter in my CIC Account because I have linked my application to my CIC account. Which is which folks?

i would say rely on myCIC/EMCS status update based on the fact that we had DM without any email notifications. i dont think our account is linked to our email correctly right after CIC did their website maintenance.

Go to this website and check your application status. Decision Made only shows in this system, not CIC My Account.

Did u check the EMCS system? I got DM on the same day as BG in progress in myCIC.

Have you guys been getting your PPR or DM before the "Due Date" listed on your GCMS notes?
I ask because my "Due Date" is April 15, which is coming up pretty soon here but my background check is still not in progress.
