Hey guys, this is my first post but I was reading the posts for a while. My application was sent on Dec 31, 2016 and medical was done last Nov. Since mine was done through a representative, I can only see very limited information. When I call CIC, it's always busy. Any trick on calling them? How to order the notes you are talking about?

Hi, try to call cic, press 1 then press 7 (Express Entry) even if you are don't apply thru Express entry they will still entertain your call. And it's easy as me and my friends always doing that when we're calling CIC. Just try it.

thx! i think i already paid the RPRF fee. BTW do u know at which step should we pay for the PR card fee? thx again!

You don't have to pay any PR card fee for initial application. Is part of the fees you paid. They will mail to afterwards.

Hey guys, got ppr reqs march 6, ottawa office received my passport last march 10. I just checked my cic account my status now it says approved. But when I checked my return tracking number it is not active yet.

Do you guys think my passport has already been stamped?

Is there anyone has the same situation as mine who had already sent their passport?

normally when myCIC changes to Approved, they have printed out your CoPR and sent to Canada post. It takes them a day to be processed and shows up on their tracking

Hey i got decision made today on 16th march . I called cic yesterday and they said everything is good .Approval is made by cic and will get PPR within couple of weeks . Dont worry hopeful.ad . Hope for the best .

Thanks, I arranged my tickets through YYC and hope everything will be fine.
Yes, I'm visa exempt. Actually I send copy of my passport & pic after 1 week due to family reasons. When I applied it was for all family and now I my family will join me later on. I think this change caused them to reprocess and send the COPR only to me which took extra week or so. See no reason to blame them for delay.

If you are landing by air I think you can land at any airport. We landed into that airport for a visa once and was absolutely fine.

Are you visa exempt? 3 weeks seems like a long time for them to process CoPR! Why does everything they do take much much longer than it should!
