You Ottawa guys are lucky. Us Mississauga folks have been stuck at eligibility and background check since March .

Unfortunately there are a lot of us in the “forgotten” MVO group of individuals. It’s so disheartening.

None of what they are doing makes sense. Headless chickens. New Delhi is processing, albeit backlog, which is much deserved for those folks. And someone from Ottawa who traveled on TRV was pleasantly surprised by getting their PR at the airport in Toronto last week.

Mississauga has been absolutely quiet with Indian spousal applications. Nothing since March. They seem to be processing other countries however.

Zilch for us too. :(

You could try calling the toll free number and listening to the recorded message after the extremely long prompts. I know for us it gives an update on eligibility and background check... which has been the same since March (in progress). Not sure if it mentions if it had passed. If there is...

No AOR2 for us either. We are also MVO. About two weeks behind you.

Nothing after our app moved to MVO on mar 6.

The generic responses are what are frustrating. Just tell me nothing is being worked on. I’ll be at peace. bless this group though. At least due to this visibility we don’t feel like lone wolves in this mess.

the last communication we got was move to Mississauga VO. After that diddly squat. It depends on the phone agent honestly. Some have been super helpful in the past.

Awesome some glimmer of hope! We have a very similar timeline. But mine has dispatched to Mississauga before the pandemic. No new news since. Looks like Ottawa is the new Mississauga in terms of speed.

Same as you guys above. Moved to MVO March 6. App was received Feb 11. Since then zilch.

I think it depends. I couldn’t. Because my representative didn’t put me as a secondary authorized rep. If we were to sign up for GC it would boot them out. If you are a secondary rep on the forms then you may be able to. If you encounter the same situation as me, it will ask you before...
