Ditto. Feb applicant, dispatched to CPC-M in March. My MP’s office called back today. They’re going to contact IRCC for an update and then looking into it. I told them how newer Ottawa applications after us have had decisions made. And we have been shafted.

I left that message for my MP. Doubt they’ll call me back anyways.

Called IRCC today to see what’s going on with the application. Pretty much told me they have not started on eligibility and security yet. Been at this stage since March. Feb 2020 applicant. What are these clowns doing? Apps after are getting DM’s. So disheartening.

Ironically unlike the other two my lawyer said the letter doesn’t matter and everything goes to NDVO. I’m not going to even argue the point though as I agree with you three based on statistics. As if this were true, then why did CPCM apps take half as much time as NDVO ‍♂️

Do you mind sharing your timeline? It’s good to know some Mississauga folks are getting Pre arrivals at least now.

I’m seeing some scraps of updates. Most of the people are 2019 applicants from oct/ nov/ dec I believe. The ones who have received DM have got pre arrival letter already. There seems to be another subset stuck at eligibility and background check who have not seen anything as of yet.

This info was in a few what’s app groups I’m in. One was MVO specific through this site and another was created by a different group.

Few Mississauga folks received DM’s today for apps with Indian PA. One September 2019 , two November 2019 and one Jan 2020 I believe. hopefully we all see some traction soon!

True. I’m just clarifying that their operation is independent of the lockdown. They likely have their own protocols for working during covid like most “office” jobs, but they are very evidently mismanaging how they plan to address our paper apps.

Not sure if the lock down affects “office jobs” per say as lots can be done remote (although paper applications can be an issue with taking home). I believe it’s more so for gatherings etc.

Thanks for the tips. it’s very subjective on the agent too. One of them gave us similar info. Citing crim had passed. I’ll probably give it a few weeks. My lawyer had also reached out to IRCC and an MP to see what’s up. And the agents see all of that.

Congrats! Based on their last communications I think they’re supposed to send guidance/instructions on how to send the passport out. Whats your timeline and visa office btw?
