Sorry to hear that. Not to disappoint you, but I don't think you can do much at this stage. You just need to wait and see what would happen. I hope they just turn a blind eye and give you a go ahead. At the end of the day, you have not faked any document and ticking the wrong box should not be...

I had the exact same situation. I called the CIC and talked to two agents. They both confirmed that I did not need to send the 2013 tax return. At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide.

I have a question from the Sep batch who already got the MR. Has anyone applied from outside Canada or I am the only one? I just need to know if my application falls into different category and I should not expect the bloody MR soon :)

I don't think that is the case. the CIC process the documents up to the time you have submitted your application. They don't do a detective work as far as I am concerned. Check the date of your PC.

It might be that your PC had expired.

I am a Sept 9th applicant. Before joining this forum, I had no idea when I would possibly receive the MR. In fact, I was hoping to get it sometimes in summer. Now that I am informed that I have to receive the MR soon, the pressure is mounting up. It is probably the down side of being informed :)

I don't think you should bother yourself if you had not stayed in the US more than 6 months. Further, even if you had stayed, still there was a chance they'd never ask. Take it easy :)

So far, some September applicants were asked to provide additional documents. As far as I am concerned, there was no MR today for September applicants, Right?

The fact that they wanted you to update means you met the other eligibility cirterion. I would say you are safe.

Just for myself. It is utterly ridiculous. I called various approved medical practices and they all charge the same amount. The wait was not long though. For some medical practices, you could visit the doctor on the same day. I suspect that there are not many applicants in the UK. Having said...

Wish we have more applicants receiving Medical Request today. I have already made an appointment with a doctor in England. The examination cost me a fortune. It is approximately £320 (CAD $570). It drives me mad!

Congrats to all those who have received the MR. As I live in the UK, my application would be processed in the immigration office. I was wondering if this may delay the process as compared to those whose application have been processed in Canada.
