Thanks, I thought about that as well. Then I asked myself if that means his application was refused? In that case, why should he apply again if he does not meet the criteria? if rejected, why they did not email him to explain? Quite confusing.

Thanks for your prompt response, I am not worried anymore :)) On a serious note, my friend who applied in Feb under CEC never received his AOR (almost 5 weeks delayed), his credit card not charged, the ecas does not identify his file. What would you do?

Thank you both. The CC has not been charged, the ecas does not recognise the login details, and he has been carefully checking his email. Given that he lives in Europe, I think his file will be returned soon as no file was created. Hard to guess though.

Hi Sep fellows, I also paid the RPRF today and got the acknowledgment. I had a question on behalf of my friend who applied in Feb under CEC. All Feb fellows have already received the AOR but he has not received it yet. His credit card is not charged as well despite the fact the it is for sure...

Since many of you are in here now, I wish to ask one final question. Does it matter in which country we complete the medical exam? It goes without saying that I will see a doctor from the approved panel physicians.

So many updates we received all of sudden means that all previous suggestions that 'they are back to normal' were luckily wrong.

I have the first hand experience from the UK as I have applied for it at least three times for various reasons. It is quick, if you pay £80 it would take only two working days to get the UK police certificate. You should also add the £48.00 for international courier which you need to pay the UK...

My view on upfront medical is that you propose someone who does not even want to go out with you for a coffee. Joking aside, my impression initially was that upfront medical can speed up the process but I personally hesitated to do so. I thought I might get rejection at any point in time and...

I respect all speculation you made with regard to the slowed down process. My take on this is that people work in their offices at different pace; sometimes they are fast and sometimes they are slow. Also, there are many out there who have never come across this forum. They might have received...
