What are you trying to say? Yes, most of us applying for PR in Canada were born overseas ???
You asked me for advice and I told you what I would do, if I was in your situation. If you don't
want to submit her birth certificate, you don't have to. Her passport is also proof of citizenship - correct.

Thanks Toby.

Just received RFPR request and paid it few minutes ago.

so all the action happened in 1 day :

1- RCMP and security clearance (2nd time) 6:30 am
2-MR 9:30 am
3-RFPR request 4:00 pm.

good luck to all applicants.

Hi toby,

Please update my further info as below

MR done: April 8, 2014
RPRF paid: April 5, 2014(upfront)
Received RPRF request today though( april 9, 2014)

I have emailed them with Medical and RPRF receipts today. Approximately when can i expect Passport requests, any idea?
My appln states "in process" on ECAS and being worked on from March 31st.

Since many of you are in here now, I wish to ask one final question. Does it matter in which country we complete the medical exam? It goes without saying that I will see a doctor from the approved panel physicians.

I can tell you that you'll get it soon, but no one will be able to tell you when exactly. Could be a week or a month.

So many RPRF requests .........so does that mean people who are getting RPRF requests have passed Eligibility.

Received RPRF request an hour back. :)
April 9th , 4:45 PM

Paid online via Credit card and sent the receipt to CPC O and Cost recovery .

Congratulations to all those, who have got positive updates from CIC so far, and the rest of the guys, hang in there , good things are about to happen.

Hi... did you replied to the RPRF email you recived this morning or sent the reciept info with a new thread. Do we also need to send the same to CPC O or just the Cost Recovery email as in the request email from CIC?

Thanks

Got the Request for RPRF Payment. Paid by credit and sent the receipt!

Question.
My ECAS still says Application Received and that's it.
Should there be any updates?

Yes, thats correct atleast the eligibility is met... The RPRF email says so as well -

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

Thanks!

Many Congratulations!

ECAS updates:There would be, but no assured time frames. It might happen tonight, tomorrow or next week. But, the application status in ECAS, shouldnt be a cause of concern
