My MP asked me to get in touch if I do not receive any update by July 17. However how do you make case specific enquiry on CIC website?

My CIT 0520 docs reached CIC on April 17.Called up CIC to find out update. I was told since my case is non routine, I should wait for an answer till OCT 17 which is 6 months from receipt of my docs by CIC. Just another piece of info.

I don't know buddy. if you have any specific question I can answer then I would be more than happy to help. I have sent them all the damned docs they requested. Do submit a translated passport copy even if the stamps are bilingual. I have sent all the bank statements, credit card statements...

Sent my complete RQ with all the docs yesterday and it was received by CIC today. Fingers crossed. This is the final stage of submitting all the docs.

It is mandatory in a sense cause should you miss any mails then your arse is covered. Call up CIC, note down the name and id of the call centre agent and inform him/her of your intentions. Later send a fax to CIC of your local office quoting the name and id number of the agent you spoke to and...

I had sent my CIT 0520 on 10th Nov and I got a full RQ on March 28. Their letter was dated 18th so lost 10 days in postal transit. Have gathered all the docs and will be mailing them this week. Heap of docs more expenses. Pain.
