My ATIP report says the due date for my Residency eligibility is March 21. So I guess that is where that date came from. This date was conveyed by CIC to my MP. I wish CIC employed some staff to solely browse this portal and its various threads so that they can get an insight into what problems...

Called up CIC as I completed 6 months after giving my knowledge test. They say issuance of CIT 0520 is non routine but they told my MP it was routine. So don't know how these guys are being trained. MP had said I should get a DM by March 21 failing which to contact him again. So waiting for...

asaif I feel sorry for you bro but try to complete the RQ and the necessary docs asap. I believe after submission you should receive DM within a week of its receipt by CIC. I had read one thread where an applicant faced the same situation.

Congrats! When did you get DM? Was your ecas updated?

asaif I too submitted all the documents and they received it on Nov 17. I am jobless and struggling but CIC doesn't bother. Sent them several faxes but on deaf ears. Just bide the time. This is pathetic. Change is needed in CIC way of functioning.

Got a reply from my local MP saying that a decision will be made before March 21, 2016 as I am a March applicant. Long story short CIT 0520 is not non routine. Its routine process according to my MP who was informed by CIC Edmonton.

asaif I wrote my test on Aug 31 alongwith my wife. CIT 0520 docs submitted. No DM No oath.

Had requested my local MP to enquire into my case. He got a reply saying my file is waiting final review and a decision should be made by March 31, 2016. CIC acknowledged receipt of all my docs as requested by them and should make a decision by March. Don't know how true that to be.

How do I ask for a case specific enquiry. My residency is still in progress.

I had requested for an electronic ATIP and I got a 30 page pdf file in email after one month of request. Residency: In progress Oath: not started.

When you get your ATIP please note ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT : 2 which is for residence and in this section there is a Due Date : 2016/03/21 in my ATIP.

My CIT0520 docs were received by CIC Edmonton on Nov 17, 2015 and still no DM. Frustrating.

Do the pending issues of your wife's ATIP have a due date by which they should be completed?

What does your ATIP say? Mine is stuck on residency. I have 1418 days as against 1095 which is required. All other aspects shows passed. However there is a due date of March 21, 2016 on mine for residency. Hope that is a positive one.
