My case officer from my MP's office replied saying my file is scheduled for residency hearing and is in queue. No time frame mentioned. Frustration galore. Pathetic man I tell you. I however renewed all my families PR cards.

Do you think it will take that long for hearing from the judge, I mean 18 to 36 months. That's absurd. Better to withdraw and reapply I guess.

tsooma how can you reply CIT 0520 by email. It needs heaps of docs to be submitted. Or did they ask you for a specific doc thru CIT 0520? I am scheduled for hearing but no date in site.

I too has assumed of stamps being in English and hence no translation required but when I got the rq 0250 they specifically asked for translation and hence I did it. but I am still in limbo.

Why would you wait for the passport to expire unless you did not intend using it. You can go to a Canadian consulate or embassy and renew it. No worries.
