At least at this point, you know that your application was not returned...like ours...so you are in a better situation.

the application package was received on Feb 20, the date on the stamp back was Feb 24

I'm just so pissed off right now, not at CIC but at myself for not thinking that they would need the old passport's bio page.

I go by the rule of thumb: I will only attach documents that is stated in the checklist.

based from the info here, I fear our application may get sent back: a. did not put our names at the back of the photos b. I did not include my old, expired IELTS results that I used to apply for PR c. I think that putting in the bio pages of our old passport, where the visa was originally put...

my goodness, we did not write our names on the back of our photos. we never found specific instructions on that...or we missed it. can that be a cause of application being returned?

well, aside from the call centre, there doesn't seem to be any avenue for follow up, sorry that wasn't much of a help the call centre is basically the 'firewall' to the higher ups, unless you request (demand) to speak with a supervisor
