    Question about Police certificate

So I had my FBI background check done through an approved channeler (Fieldprint). The results came back immediately and are clear. Fieldprint emailed me the official FBI results in PDF form. Its nothing more than a 1 page document with an FBI seal on it. Is this all I need to include in my...

Question on IMM5406 Additional Family Info

Yes, I know what the instructions say. I should have phrased my question differently. My question should have stated: Since my mother is widowed, would CIC still consider them my step brothers since they are children of her husband whom passed away?

Question on IMM5406 Additional Family Info

In the section for brothers and sisters, it says "also include step brothers and sisters". I do not have any blood brothers or sisters. However, I had two step brothers but my mother is widowed now. Am I required to list them or no?

    Non-accompanying dependant passport

Also, on the IMM0008, it asks "How many family members, including you, are included in this application (see instructions guide)?" Does this include my wife (the sponsor) who is a Canadian Citizen living in Canada? When I click on the link in the instructions guide under this section, it takes...

    Non-accompanying dependant passport

Yes, i did see that. I was just curious because under the dependants info section, it says "Name as listed on passport or travel document". He's 4 so he has neither, only a birth certificate.

    Non-accompanying dependant passport

Just need to clarify: I have 1 dependant under the age of 18 who will be "non-accompanying". I know he will need a medical done, but does he NEED to have a passport too? I cannot find anywhere in the application guide that clearly states whether it is a "requirement" for a dependant to have one...

Does anyone have links to timelines or can share their own timeline for a US Outland application?

    Inland vs Outland (US citizen)

The faster the better either way to be honest. If I had any level of confidence that if I submitted my PR app outland in March and it would be approved before the end of 2019, id probably not consider doing inland. Our application will be pretty straight forward so I think it will be quicker...

    Inland vs Outland (US citizen)

It does but it does, this territory seems to be a bit of a grey area. I'm honestly considering asking the border officials next time I visit just to get their take on it.

Hi all, I've been reading thread after thread about Inland vs Outland as it pertains to being able to travel outside Canada while the application is being processed. Long story short, my fiance (Canadian citizen) and I (US Citizen) will be getting married in March. If we applied inland, I would...

    Sponsorship eligibility app

Pardon if this is a dumb question, but can my Fiance' submit her application to be approved as a sponsor prior to us getting married? Or is that application combined with the main sponsorship (PR) application once were married and we just submit it all at once?

    U.S. Police Clearance

I’ll be starting my US to Canada app process soon (3 months or less)...are the fingerprints something that can be done in advance to avoid additional wait time? FWIW, I already have FBI clearance through my current employer, would IRCC accept those or do I need to do it all over again?
