Pardon if this is a dumb question, but can my Fiance' submit her application to be approved as a sponsor prior to us getting married? Or is that application combined with the main sponsorship (PR) application once were married and we just submit it all at once?

You do not need to be married to apply if you qualify for common law. If you don't, the entire application including sponsor portion has to be sent at once, not in stages.
