There're some people applied in Oct 2016 already got their AOR notice. Better check with CIC.

It depends what type of PNP you applied. In Ontario, we have PNP sponsored by employer and PNP of Master-graduate student. In the latter case, the nominee can change whatever the employer he likes or simply stay at home.

So I guess resubmitting an application with previously missing documents wont help you go back to the original waiting line.

I think everyone submitted the application would have the same concern like you. I do check my materials many times before sending my application, yet still there's a return possibility. There's nothing you can do about this, and just be patient. Even if it's returned, it's not the end of the...

As long as it's a paper based PR application, it takes about 16 months to complete the whole procedure, regardless of which province he/she is from. Anyone who can file PR through EE should do it in EE. It's much quicker.

It takes CIC about 90 days to send their first response - the AOR notice. Anyone applied around Nov 2016 would expect the notice at Feb 2017. My application was delivered on Oct 31 2016. As expected, there's no update.

Just linked my paper based application. Delivered on Oct 31 2016. For the # of family members, many people said just to put "1" for whatever the family size. I used to put 1 but failed to find my application. This time I used 2 (my spouse and I) and it works ! Bravo !

The AOR is expected for around 90 days. I guess they deduct the application fees around 60 days and give the AOR in another 30 days.

I don't thank there's any email to notice you that they receive your package. The only email they send is the AOR email. When your package is delivered and signed by someone from CIO, you know the package is delivered successfully and the only thing you can do now is to WAIT...

When was you application delivered to CIO ? Though I checked my application many times before mailing out, I'm still concerned that my application would be returned for some reason. BTW, my package was delivered on Oct 31. So far there's any news about it...

Yes, I'm in the stream of master student without job offer. The nominee package is delivered by Purolator. There's no email notification.

You cannot have both study and work permit at the same time. That means you can have only ONE status in Canada, either worker or student. Once you change your status, the previous one will automatically be in valid.

I don't have my spouse name in my letter either. I think it's normal.
