Honestly, I would order notes and see what they say. That's the most that we can go off of, until people with similar timelines start receiving updates. Hopefully tomorrow we will get a bunch!

My FBI report was signed for by B. BORGET this morning at CPC Ottawa! I made the mistake and forgot to include the original packaging from the FBI, just in case the agent doubts that it is a real FBI report. Hopefully they are very familiar with the FBI report's new look, now that it's August. :)

That's great news that an August 7th IP got DM today! I think that's a positive sign.

Honestly, that's kind of a relief for recent IP'ers to know that you, along with some earlier applicants do not see a third line either, because your app is clearly due for a decision. Maybe it's CIC's new way of updating ECAS.

I have hope that seeing IP still means that the file is being actively processed and DM will come soon. It seems really counter productive to update certain files to IP and then not do anything with them for months, and then access them again to finish the processing. That is of course unless...

Since she is American, she will be processed in Ottawa, which currently states that it has a 16 month processing time, but it is rare that applicants have to wait that long. Most applicants are processed in under 10 months. The times provided on CIC's website are worst case scenarios. You will...

I'm not sure what it means. My status went IP on August 6th, but we received the SA letter by email on August 12th, and it was dated August 12th.

For what it's worth, we got our SA email this morning and it has today's date. My PR application went from Application Received to In Process on August 6.
