Traveling with expired passport is a different topic of discussion. Visa is valid till 1 yr or until the validity of the passport, whichever comes first but not lesser than 6 months.

Hi raghav. Many congratulations. Please clarify. What is the validity requirement for PP when submitting it to NDVO? Should be valid 12 months into the future at the time of submission?

But that is asked by Bucharest VO not NDVO. NDVO email never said anything about remaining validity of PP.
