Some have received a second AOR (confirmation of a complete application) but a lot of people whose applications have been finalised did not receive it, apparently.

I am not quite sure. I mean if your company is going to go through issuing you a brand new letter, why not just add the duties and responsibilities to make it complete? I'm sure they would have a record of your old letter on file... Maybe someone else might be able to shed some light there.

Hello, If you change your current job, you will require a new letter stating the past tense (you worked there from X-Y) etc. If you are claiming points for the new job (which will take some time to accrue), you will require a letter from that company stating your duties / responsibilities etc.

I don't believe it asks you for the AOR. They can use your UCI number or some other form of identification to track your application progress. That's how they know whether your application has passed the check.
