No it didn't even expire yet ,they just don't seem to have it even though they sent me an email acknowledging that they did. To make matters worse I sent it in without making a copy for my own records but I did have a picture of it so I sent that and we applied for another one just in case and...

Not sure the process for someone outside of Trinidad but what I can say in my case my husband lives in Trinidad and physically went to apply for the PCC it generally takes about a few weeks depending on the station. Took about 2 months for us and there was no expedited option. There should be...

Thank you! If your husband hasn't been back to Cuba in awhile or since the PCC was issued they most likely won't ask for another one... it wouldn't make any sense. So once it reaches their hands before it expires don't worry!

I'm really happy you got through with the police record...I was actually thinking about you the other day as strange as it may sound lol. They haven't requested an interview so I'm guessing it's not needed.

Thanks everyone! I applied late November so it's just good to know they are really working and I hope it brings good news for you all. I think mine went into process quickly because I sent my husband directly to the embassy to drop off a fresh police record about 2 weeks ago. Or there's a secret...

I've read through many pages of this thread and noticed many people were approved in 7 months or less. The main issue with this office seems to be the correspondence and not hearing anything for months.

Yea I know..I used to check ecas like twice a day and now it's turning into once a week. I have this small hope that they will get fed up and just approve all the apps that came in before December 7 2016 so they don't get confused with the new paper work. Just continue to have faith just now we...

Yes I think you should! I myself will be doing the same thing when our medical gets closer to expiry. I know people might disagree with my advice because you're supposed to sit around and wait until the VO decides to contact you but like I said before nothing wrong with being proactive. The...
