Also PCC & Medical as well as Appendix A have all been sent in.

Anywhere from 6-12 months depending whose hand your file lands in...I submitted in Oct...I am still waiting for them to do the eligibility test for my husband along with background check....i just recently submitted the last PCC they were waiting on.

That's amazing!!! I am so happy that one out of the three of us at least heard something and is moving along which gives us hope that they are actually working on our files...Congrats again! So we had the PCC translated and I e-mailed them a copy then they asked me to mail the original to Port of Spain office...PCC expires ending of April....story of my life....lol hopefully everything goes smoothly...fingers crossed.

Thank you! If your husband hasn't been back to Cuba in awhile or since the PCC was issued they most likely won't ask for another one... it wouldn't make any sense. So once it reaches their hands before it expires don't worry!

So POS received my husbands passport and RPRF receipt on Tuesday. Not sure what's going to happen now or when.... just patiently waiting

Anyone know the process of getting a PCC from Trinidad & Tobago of a Jamaican citizen..is there an expedite service? My husband travelled there on visitor visa from 1-3 mths at a time for 2-3 trips a year. Hoping its not going to take long :o

Not sure the process for someone outside of Trinidad but what I can say in my case my husband lives in Trinidad and physically went to apply for the PCC it generally takes about a few weeks depending on the station. Took about 2 months for us and there was no expedited option. There should be some information on the cic website on how to obtain or maybe some of the other members in the thread can give you more information

He needs to apply in person. Part of the procedure is taking his fingerprints.

I managed to find out the high commission of trinidad and tobago in jamaica will instruct him on how to proceed on monday.. So sad it takes that long but think its better to get started in case they ask for it

At least we know their potential. I'm still praying for a June/July landing. Maybe its just wishful thinking lol. Anyway guys keep the updates rolling make me hopeful. :D :D

It should take that long, keep following up with the embassy in your hometown. my husband PCC was coming from Cuba and it took us 6 months to get it. I dont anticipate yours taking so long.

Why don't you contact your MP office to and have them get an up date for you, which will give the officer a reason to open your file and take a look at it. I haven't heard anything back because I just sent in the PCC via email and they request the original which is on route not deliver as of yet. Husband Medical Expires June 9....So hopefully everything gets finalized by then...(i know this because MP office contacted them).

My spouse did and all she got was the run around at first. Then finally information that our file is in the line to be reviewed by an officer and that's all. Waste of time. That's the most obvious information ever. I'm making plans for my wife to visit me within the next month if we still not seeing any action from Pos. At least I will get something to look forward to. I wonder if the realise how hard our lives are been away from our family and just waiting and praying for some sign that its almost over. I can't deal with this. Feeling like we should of just left this sponsorship thing alone. :(

No, dont say that...dont give up! My MP office got more information for me than the file is in the process of being review, which is Adam Vaughan office.

I just came back from GT, it is not easy, that's for sure...and the hold Application process creates a lot of anxiety. Maybe you should try requesting the notes as well to see what is going on.

I'll try the notes. But I have a representative (a lawyer). I read somewhere that that limits u a bit when enquiring. Does the lawyer have to do the notes? Does anyone know.
