When you received that email that your application was updated, something must have changed a bit on your MyCIC. Either the Review of Eligibility was changed to Review in Progress or the Review of Medical results was changed to In progress or Passed. Check it again :)

AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Try to wait until next week, and see what happens. Besides, it hasn't been 29 days since they got your application. I know it's very frustrating to wait specially if someone who submitted their papers later than yours gets an AOR or an update first, but I believe that it doesn't necessarily...

Maybe they just haven't updated your ECAS yet :) Hey! I just figured today that the last time they updated MyCIC was on September 12. That was when Review of Eligibility was changed to Review In Progress. And guess what? They issued my SA September 13! :) So, I'm pretty sure that you'll have...

Yeahhh... I totally understand. At ilang beses ko talaga binasa yung checklist kung requirement ba yung BC ng sponsor before kami nagpasa pero 100% sure ako na wala kaya di ko na din siya nilagay. Pero isubmit mo na rin siguro ngayon para sure.

*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

Hi, My husband got our AOR2 last Monday. Sa mga sponsors po na Canadian citizen, need pa ba ng PSA birth certificate? Kasi sa checklist nung nagpasa kami yung sa sponsored person lang naman yung birth certificate na kelangan. And then dito sa AOR2, for Philippine citizens, need ng birth...

To everyone who doesn't have an AOR1 yet, don't you worry guys. Not everyone is getting AOR1 (like me). As long as you see some progress on your MyCIC or ECAS, you're good. :) SA is far more important :)

AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Your letter above appears to be an AOR but it seems that you have received an AOR last week already. Hmm. That's strange. I was given SA last week, and the letter confirmed my eligibility to be a sponsor and they mentioned that my file was transferred to a visa office. You can get an SA even...

When you go to My Application on CIC website, you have to go directly to "Check your application status" (ECAS) instead of clicking the "Create an Account or Sign In" (MyCIC). ECAS is the tool you use to check your application status by entering your UCI or Application number or Receipt Number...

I paid my fees online and a copy of my receipt was automatically generated. You'll have an option to email or print a copy of that receipt. You can also save it and email it directly to your visa office. You have to notify CIC about your situation though. The reason why they had your file...

    1. Once you complete an upfront medical exam, a proof or an upfront medical report will be given to you. 2. After the fees have been paid, you'll get a proof of payment (receipt). You'll then have to send a copy of these two to the visa office in Sydney.
