Hi guys I am going to ask for my GCMS notes. Question, in the visa office file location, what should I put. Buffalo or Ottawa. I applied to buffalo bu I think my file never left ottawa once it was sent to them by buffalo for medical and security checks.

so that means I am looking at Feb 2013 as possible PPR month. Cauz I got AOR in Feb 2012. I will order GCMS notes in mid of september. my status is in process since 17 may and medical result received appeared afterwards. For some people it appears before In Process....anyways doesnt matter...

Hi Ohms, Is your ecas status In Process as well? One thing is for sure that in Elig is passed, then the status is In Process. Otherwise, yes nothing can be assumed for sure about this whole process. It is different for everyone. I think it depends upon the nationality more than anything.

i think if all three checks are complete, then Eligibility is passed automatically for PNP applicants. Then the application stats goes to In Process on ECAS and PPR is expected at the next due date.

So your Criminality is taking long time. I wonder if Security is started after Criminality or they are done in parallel.

Hi, Cant answer your first question but for Medicals, I am pretty sure they increase the validity if its only the medicals expiring and rest of the checks are complete. Sharru shared a link as well for the Operations Bulletin.

thanks for sharing the info So it is clear that In Process means Background checks are still pending. For certain nationalities, background checks are done after going to In Process. Thats why for some people its ultra fast after In Process but for some it gets stuck in Background Checks.

wish you best of luck.... I think if your application is within processing time, no need to worry. CIC can manage the activities even if they start them late. I am also QSW applicant. Got AOR in Feb 2012 and in process since May.

not sure if that is a good idea.....I think they work at there own pace. they can easily say that the processing time is out of there hands due to background checks etc... just my humble opinion.
