I didn´t send it in at first, because they were still asking for the state police checks when we sent ours in. But once I found out about the new SSP requirement, we went to get it and handed it in before they even asked us for it. I think that helped speed things up a lot, because 3 weeks...

That would probably easiest! Or if you live in one of these states: Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, Estado de México, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Puebla, Querétaro, Veracruz, Yucatán, Zacatecas Then you can get it from the state office there, and don´t need to go to Mexico city for the PGR...

For the police checks you used to need one from every state he lived in for more than 6 months after turning 18. BUT now they have chengaed things and they do not require the state ones anymore...instead they want the one from SSP, which you can only get in Mexico City. The federal checks you...

That happened to us too! I got sponsorship approval Jan. 31st and the AOR from Mexico didn´t come until April 8th! I am pretty sure they start processing before that though! We were emailing and trying to find out what happened but they never answered! I am sure you will get your AOR soon...

Don´t stress yourself out by reading what other people sent! I kept reading on here people sending tons of emails and pictures and stuff and then I would get paranoid that I didn´t send enough! All we sent were some pictures and printed off some facebook wall posts. We didn´t even get an...

Congrats on getting sponsorship approval! And yes they will send you an AOR from Mexico city (mine took about 2 and a half months after sponosrship approval!) and that AOR letter will probably say they are mailing you a letter so you can get the PGR certificate (this letter took like a month...

    Mexico police certificates: Experiences?

Hi and welcome! We got our PGR certificate from one of the state offices about a month ago. They told us that the constancia and the informe is the same thing (they just call it differently in the state offices). We had no problems with ours, even though it came from the state offices! For...

I waited a lonnnng time to see in process on my eCas. But I am pretty sure they started it before they changed it on Ecas. ( I got the PGR request before the in process showed up), and then once it did show up I got PPR in like a month! So I wouldn´t worry much about what eCas says.

The hours are 2-7pm. And you do it all at the same time! It is REALLY fast so if you get there at 2 you will probably be out of there with your paper by 2:15pm. There will be a big line up and you will probably think you will be there for a long time (we thought we would be there all...

Hi! The building is grey and tall. You won´t miss it, there are lots of people lined up outside and has a bunch of police standing outside! If you are taking public transportation you can take the metrobus and get off at the station ¨Piedad¨ you only have to walk a few blocks from there.

Yes I think air Canada it´s the only one I can find that doesn´t go through USA! And we don´t want to go through the whole process of getting the transit visa for the states. We are going to Edmonton so we would go from mexico city to vancouver and then from there to Edmonton. Yesterday we...

We went to get the visa today! It was very simple. We got to the embassy at like 8:30 and dropped off the passport with a cell number and our address in Canada. Then they told us to come back between 3 and 4. Make sure you guys print 2 copies of the PPR because they keep one when you hand in...

I think that if she took it directly to the embassy it should be fine! They are pretty good about putting the papers in the proper files when you go there in person! When did it get handed in? I have a feeling they should be getting their PPR very soon!
