From what I have read on this forum, that sounds like a standard response. It seems like they have opened your file and are looking through it which is good news!

I just want to say that I love this thread!!! My current paranoia is if I deleted an email from CIC without realising... (despite the fact that I have been checking my deleted folder and double check every time I check 'delete'). Oh the joys of now being 'in process'... The waiting game...

Email sent.... I included all the previous emails that we exchanged back in November too... Sigh, this is almost as frustrating as waiting for the big 'Decision Made'... However at least I know there's an end to that! ;)

Thanks Sweden, yes I hope so too... This all happened because I got really confused when I was applying and it wasn't clear where to send the payment to (and I hadn't yet discovered this forum - this would have been so much help!) so we ended up paying the CIC London office for my application...

Anyone?? If not I will look around more on the website and on here for any other instances where people have been through a refund process...
