Old passport not necessary although it won't hurt to upload just to be safe. As for a reason for travel history I believe there are other reasons as well such as which countries we were visiting and how often in terms of terrorism for example.

In that case I would suggest to list what you can + LOE. It is difficult especially if you travel a lot. It took me ages to complete my travel history. Search your mobile phone and computer for old photos, old calendars for dates etc, this is how I did it.

I don't have a single stamp in my passport and I travel a lot. In EU we don't have our passports stamped so following your logic I have no travel history whatsoever. I would recommend listing all your travels regardless of stamps.

What rules are you talking about? You can update your Express Entry profile at any time with new ECA, IELTS etc for yourself and the spouse. Wait 24h and see if it's updated, updating takes time.
