I got good news!!!!! I just received AOR of vienna :-) so happy!!!! They said it may take 7 months to process and that i shouldnt contact them untill 3 months have past.

Hey guys, i just received AOR of my VO in vienna today :-)!!!! They say it may take 7 months and that i have to give them 3 months before i contact them.

we married 07th sep. 2011 and applied in may 2012. It took us forever to get all documents and my husband came in april 2012 to visit me and we finished the application then together before sending it.

I have a similiar situation, since im double citizen, swiss/german, but i only got a swiss passport. I changed my german ID though, so in germany i go with a joined name of me and my husband but for switzerland im still with my maiden name, cause it would take too long as well to get a new swiss...

As far i know the UCI is for sponsor, so its only for that part, stage one. The application file number is for the applicant and stage 2 and thats where you would see the updat for PR.

haha you say it! I didnt want to mention it again, since i complained about it enough :-P I apologize if they really got a lot work and people on vacation, but i hope they pick it up a bit more and we hear some news soon

Agreed. Its nothing personal and of course not all of you are fast but compared to other it is, the spreadsheets show it and it cant be helped people feel treated unfair or get frustrated. But im happy for anyone no matter what vo they have if they get their visa fast!
