    It's been one weeks since the interview in Mexico City, no news as of yet with regards to sending the Passport in. I will post the same day I find out or when the website maybe changes the status too!

    That's right, he didn't submit either of them! They emailed him when it was time for him to do so...It took 10 business days for the federal one to be completed. His mother dropped it off for him with the proxy he sent to her, and than the day before his interview he picked it up and took it in...

    The Visa office notified my son in law of when to submit the police checks...the email came about 2 weeks before the email to set up his interview time. He took the completed forms to his interview with him. And yes, he waited for hours in Cancun too!!

    Yes questions such as how did you meet, how do you communicate, who from Canada was at the wedding, where and when was the wedding, what does your wife do for work, how often do you see her, where is she right now....they had a positive reaction when he told them that she was in the waiting room...

    ugghh...the waiting is horrible! My son in law actually has his interview in one hour in Mexico City. I have heard of some cases where they give you the answer right after the interview. My fingers and toes are crossed!

    Thanks soooo much you guys!!! You have been so helpful! I was just re-reading the requirements though, I don't think he has a birth certificate issued from this current year, I wonder if that matters...if he can just send in the one he does have.

What is the process of this, is there a special form that needs to be filled out from my son in law and daughter, to give to the embassy. Or is it just a letter stating that she is the carta poder that they draft...

    Can someone please give me some clear direction on the police/criminal record check forms to be submitted. We received the letter from the Embassy to submit it. It says to take in this form when we go in, but what else is needed? This is for the federal...for state, where do we find direction...
