Please advice me that what would be the next step after clearing the Interview for Spouse visa.

Was your VO satisfied with your answers?? I know ofcourse Visa officer not gonna tell you whether he's satisfied or not but i believe you have tried find out from his face.

The visa officer will evaluate your answers during the interview against their concerns and reasons for requesting the interview. If they are satisfied, they will proceed with any other pending checks and continue processing your application. If they are not satisfied, you will receive a letter outlining why they are rejecting your application.

Relax, and wait, that's all you can do at this time.

Could you please advice me if you have seen any members in this forum, who's visa got refused after clearing Interview?

Do you know what probably the points for refusing application? (Is it, Two Marriages? Divorces?? lied somewhere in application files??, or anything similar to this??)

ugghh...the waiting is horrible! My son in law actually has his interview in one hour in Mexico City. I have heard of some cases where they give you the answer right after the interview. My fingers and toes are crossed!

Nothing to worry about, if they really love each other, an interview will not keep them apart!!!!

I just rec'd a text from my daughter and son in law in Mexico City. Brief details, I will post after we Skype tonite, but they realized the relationship was genuine, and they told him that they are just confirming the authenticity of the criminal record checks than they will send him instructions on how to send in his passport.

Ok more details! My son in law had the interview in Mexico City, said the female interviewers were SUPER nice! There were 2 interviewers and one translator, they asked if he would like to use her, but he chose to speak English. They told him at the end of the interview that they believed the relationship was real (uhhh ya it is hehe) and that they would now confirm that the crim checks were authentic and than send him the email as to how to submit his passport! Lets hope that it is quick!!!!!

yes all those can b reason of refusal...also relationship not genuine, they r not satisfied that the sponsor would return to canada (if outside), not satisfied that the sponsor has sufficient income (this is very rare); some interviews could b security interviews and from that the applicant could b inadmissible to Canada....and maybe even other reasons.....
