Our case is not ARC but our visa office is Vienna and our sponsorship application has been received 2 weeks ago and despite that shows it's in process. So my guess is they are active somehow.

Ottawa is much faster!. And as I read same information on embassy website last week, I got my application sent to Vienna and it's in process... So I am not sure what kind of applications are affected by the notice from Vienna embassy.

36 days is an average based on 80% of the cases. We are still waiting far behind 36 days now... :(

Patience is crucial in this process. There are a few applicants in February thread who haven't got their AOR yet. Each case is individual and if we keep comparing to others or calling it won't get us fast process and SA. Just saying don't be anxious, this is the beginning. If the only thought...

Hmm, obviously Vienna likes to call applicants for interviews. :-\ As I follow Vienna thread some applicants leave with visa in the passport, others leave without final decision, third ones get PR approval but wait for passport request. Wish you luck and visa in the passport after the interview.
