Thanks canuck_in_uk, I missed that requirement. It is not clear from OP's post if his son is currently in Canada or Pakistan. It seems that his son is in Pakistan. Otherwise, if his son is in Canada, he needs to get LVTD for his son before leaving Canada.

Most PP,s will give you a letter that you have completed the Medical Examination. You can enclose that letter with your application. Ask for it.

OP has mentioned they are expecting baby in October. She already has a visitor's visa to Canada. How is Inland helpful due to pregnancy? I don't think an Immigration Consultant will be helpful either. I will recommend, though, that she travels to Canada earlier rather then later during pregnancy.

OP did mention that she regrets that decision now. I am sure IO's notes mentioning reason for refusal will be in the file. GCMS notes may help to understand unless such notations are blacked out.

IO might have determined that an interview is required before finalizing the application. Take with you all the application related documents, evidence of relationship between sponsor & applicant, etc.
