Adopting a child that lost one parent.

Hi Everyone,
I am a single mom and would like to adopt a child from Africa. I have no idea how it works, so i am writing to find out how it works and how long it will take to do so. I am a permanent resident holder and working full time and have been here since Sept 2012. requirements for sponsoring an adopted child.

Please i need your help.
