Does seem to have stalled. Last news was up to 11 March or so. On the tracker some local VOs have reached end March/April. However one's stuck at CPC Ottawa are stalled.

I do not have issue with your frustration. It is OK for you to vent here. Everyone here is on the same boat and is frustrated. However I do not think it is good to criticize people thanking somebody for providing information.

Eh? They are thanking that person for providing information. Do you think he is the IRCC or the Canadian government? Personally I rather know why something is delayed (and hence would thank the source of information) so that I can adjust my future plans.

I saw the message yesterday, then it seemed to have started working. See it again now. The way it is behaving seems like their backend is very slow to respond and this is a timeout message.

You can get it done in Walgreens. You could look for a knowledgeable employee (call a few locations) who can select Canada passport for you or you can go to the self service kiosk and do it yourself with a digital photo you have.

I think they can play around with the 80%/6 months commitment. If you look at this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=673&top=29 they say 6 months for COMPLETE application. I remember reading on another IRCC page, cannot find it now, that the 6 months is after R10...

Well the thing is, if you do it in person you get the COC on the day of the fingerprints. I now have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to arrive and worry that it might get lost in transit. Best turnaround is to send in fingerprints by post and get a proxy to pick it up. :)

I think they took 3-4 working days to do that.

Fingerprints delivered: 07Aug2017 COC issued and mailed: 18Aug2017 There was 1 Singapore holiday in between those.

Depends on your stream. For PNP outlands, it generally happens when medical is passed. For Feb/Mar AOR that was some 3 months. They have speed up for later AORs
