L.V.f don't worry about it. Our application package was super thin when we mailed it too. I just sent about 20 pics, plane tix and some screenshots of our email account. We stuck to the boxes provided in the forms and did not write 10 page romance novels. The fact that you're living/have lived...

i'm very saddened by your story. I truly hope that you won't have to wait for 2 years. Maybe you should contact your MP, explain them what happened and see if they can help. of course they do have the right to refuse us, but such behaviour should not be acceptable at any level of government.

Ours were received by Ottawa RMO on the 11th but it's probably going to take a while for them to enter it in the system. We've sent int the police certificate as well. The...

Europe, my husband did his medical here in Canada and it took 2 weeks for the doctor to get the results. They were received by CIC RMO Ottawa on Monday but I have no idea how long its going to take for their medical examiners to look at it and email the report to Vienna. Hopefully not too long...

no you don't need to notorize them, but it does need to be translated by an official translator. In the request they sent to my husband, they did not mention that it has to be notarized either. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=039&t=4

Venecan, I don't know but if it's been longer than a year that you took out your police certificate or if the one year term is nearing I'd suggest doing it again before they even request it. My husband did his medicals a month before the police certificate and so they requested medicals first...
