As said that your dad needs to take an IELTS test if he wants to qualify. Its pretty easy test as far as i know. He can score 6.5 easily so please ask you dad to learn and take an ielts test and then again apply. Coz with 64 points CIO will reject the application. So do take the ielts exam....

You need to refill the PR form and also write a covering letter what changes have been made. This is a minor change and will not affect anything. So don't worry and chill...... Also make sure that the data which was filled in the previous forms keep unchanged other than your address or any...

You need to wait now. Its a waiting game now. Wait until the ecase shows any updates. Else nothing needs to be done from your end.

Hey buddy.... Don't even think about doing this.... No way they are gonna accept your application without reference of the company. Try to get a reference letter anyhow from the company which you are working now and all previous companies.

Don't worry you should get a reply. Was all your docs sent properly ? Normally they have a time frame of around 3 months. So you should get a reply fast.

I had sent my application to CIO on 8/12/2009. I was requested my docs on 17/2/2010. It took them 2 months for them to contact me. Normally they say that it will take around 3 months. So chill and you will surely get a positive reply :)

Visa Officers are very strict with the 120 days thingi. You should have completed your IELTS and submitted when you got the info that you need to submit your docs.
