Called CIC yesterday and they said that they are currently processing applications for end of september ... most likely I should be getting some reponse by the next month end ...

I recently submitted my application for renewing my PGWP as the first time when I received my work permit it was not for the complete 3 years as my passport was expiring on Feb 2011. my work permit was issue on Feb 2009. I have renewed my passport now and I send my work permit renewal...

I received my AOR today by email .... what a relief :D What I am wondering now is that ... my brother whose application they received 10 days before mine hasnt received his AOR yet ?? my brother checked with the bank and they said that the draft is cleared and he has confirmation from canada...

Thanks for your reply again Jes_ON Can you please let me know whats the process for the LMO .. My brother who applied the same time as me under CEC, but his work permit expires July 2011 ... so just needed some idea what options he has ...

Thanks for the info Jes_ON ... I read your comments one of the other post stating that your work permit expires in Jan 2011 ... what are you planning to do if you don't hear from them before that ??

Does anybody have any idea what the latest processing times are ?? I dont think CIC website is being updated .... 8 months for 80% applications does not seem to right if you are receiving AOR after 4 months ???

No she is not my direct supervisor ... but she is part of the HR dept. and does payroll for the company I work for ... I work for a placement agency which has provides staffing services. I am placed at a bank for Tech support. the Bank does not pay me ... but I get paid by this placement agency...

Will an explanation letter ... stating the reason why a business card cannot be provided serve the purpose ?? as she is a payroll admin and the company does not provide her a business card ...

Some of references are not provided with a business card. In this case I got the reference letters from them with there phone numbers written on the letter itself. Is it a must to have a business card with every reference letter or the contact no on the letter will do as well??

Thanks for you reply again .... One of my coop employer's told me that they do not provide reference letters or employment letters to their employees and told me to submit the appointment letter with the T4's and the salary slips .... I know that the document checklist says that ... if you...
