Renewing my PGWP

I recently submitted my application for renewing my PGWP as the first time when I received my work permit it was not for the complete 3 years as my passport was expiring on Feb 2011. my work permit was issue on Feb 2009.

I have renewed my passport now and I send my work permit renewal application in November 3rd week which CIC received it on Nov 25th through express post. I had written an explanation letter stating that I need to renew my work permit for the remain period which I haven't received for my work permit. Since then I have heard anything from CIC.

Does anybody know how long it takes for getting the renewed work permit?? anybody else been through this situation??

Approximately 3 months.

Initially it was around like 4 to 5 weeks or something ??

Called CIC yesterday and they said that they are currently processing applications for end of september ... most likely I should be getting some reponse by the next month end ...
