Hey Jes_ON First of all congrats on your PPT request. Are you planning to mail you passport to New York office or as I have heard you can go in person there and get the visa stamped in your passport, which is even faster did you pay the RPRF yet??

I am referring to the date which was on the letter. I received the letter 2 weeks after that due to the postal strike My brother who applied on July 26th 2010 received his medical request 1 day before me but his letter dated June 2nd 2011

I wouldn't recommend doing medicals in advance as CIC sends a form with your picture on it which needs to be submitted to Doctor. Just received my medical and PR fees request yesterday.

I wrote "present" on that part ... I have read that many people got their application returned for leaving that field blank

Thanks Pouce ... but u didn't answer my question ... I didn't get a medical request yet, I was just asking if it is a good idea to do it before it is requested as I have noticed a lot of people have done it in advance

I have been going through a few cases on the trackitt website and found that many people have done their medicals in advance, even before being requested by CIC. Is that a good idea to speed up the process or it is better to wait till it has been requested ??

I applied the same place as you did ... CPC Vegreville. If you see the paper application times is 108 days and online application is less. My application reached them on the 25th Nov 2010 and I am still waiting. my dilemma is I am being offered a full time position in the company I am working...
